Our Story

Ullmer’s Dairy Equipment has a rich history rooted in innovation and customer service. Founded in 1991 by Francis Ullmer with a single bulk tank sold from his front yard, the business quickly expanded into a 10-acre inventory of used cheese-making equipment in Northeast Wisconsin. After 22 years, Francis passed the reins to his son, Paul, who continued the tradition while embracing new challenges. Paul established a fabrication shop to create high-quality, food-grade stainless steel equipment tailored to individual customer needs.

Today, Ullmer’s Dairy Equipment & Fabrication boasts a skilled design team and fabricators who specialize in cheese-making but also cater to wineries, breweries, maple syrup producers, honey-makers, and educational institutions. The commitment to quality and versatility ensures that Ullmer’s can meet a wide range of equipment needs, reinforcing their motto: there’s nothing they can’t do when they set their minds to it.
